Pancake Photos Of Expression: The Liar

20130128-170400.jpg

Ah yes, this pancake does not tell the truth at all! I called this one “The Liar” because when you look closer, you can see a long nose, eyes, and a mouth that looks like its laughing. This is the first thing that came to my mind this morning when I flipped it over. Faces in my pancakes are not common, but when I get one it’s a winner! Enjoy!

Now, today’s pancake reminded me of the great American Eagle soaring in a clear sky. You really have to look at it from a distance to see it though- you’ll be able to see the wings better. Enjoy!

An Apple A Day

An Apple A Day, Food Photos, Apples, Fruit Photos

Apple in my pancake? I’m not a big fan of mixing the two, but it seems that I had no choice this morning (lol).   However, according to reports, apples are good for you (what a concept). Here’s something I read in a Yahoo! Shine article this morning:

“…researchers at University of Iowa report that apples–which are rich in a compound called ursolic acid (found in apple skins)–may increase your body’s ability to burn calories and build muscle…”

I thought fruit was good for you anyway sans the research. I guess that’s what it takes nowadays for people to eat right.

Love Always

love, love quotes, love culture

Love quotes came to mind when I came across another heart in my pancake. This is heart No.2.

Here are some love quotes I thought you might enjoy:

“You know you’re in love when you can’t fall asleep because reality is finally better than your dreams.”
Dr. Seuss

“Darkness cannot drive out darkness: only light can do that. Hate cannot drive out hate: only love can do that.”
Rev. Dr. Martin Luther King Jr., A Testament of Hope: The Essential Writings and Speeches

“It is better to be hated for what you are than to be loved for what you are not.”
― André Gide, Autumn Leaves
